Rachel Maddow Incites Violence

We recently received this call from an “anonymous source”, if you will.

maddow

Sheer brilliance. Click to listen. Do it. Now.

Some money quotes:

“Be careful what you wish for – the right to bear arms means that everyone can bear arms.”

“We will be fighting you to the death.”

“I’m so glad that I saw Rachel Maddow. She’s brilliant. She’s absolutely fantastic. And her diagnosis of the ills of the American right are so right on. I mean, basically, what you’re doing is just saying no. You’re like belligerent children. You have no concept of how hard people have worked to get this together, and to make sure that we win. We WILL win, and will continue. That’s why Obama got elected.”

“We are now organized. We will show up at your town meetings, and your town halls, and trust me, it’s a force to be reckoned with.”

Sounds pretty threatening to me… but will Rachel condemn this? I’m sure she won’t. How about any of these phone calls, posted back in August?

I’ll be the first to say that the calls to violence that are floating around both sides are inappropriate. It’s not productive, and makes everyone look bad. The media isn’t helping the situation by feeding stories that may or may not (and are most likely not) true from last weekend’s Tea Party rallies in Washington, and downplaying Cantor’s office being shot up on Monday.

Can we all just agree that shooting people is bad? No one is supporting those that are throwing bricks through windows or anything else. But Ms. Maddow, consider that the hatred runs from your side as well. Words matter, and apparently your words are inciting threats from your listeners. How’s that for hate speech?

Maybe a word about that on tomorrow’s show to condemn the hatred of fellow human beings? I won’t hold my breath.

As opposed to just the bad guys? Why isn’t this a good thing? Seems like a no-brainer to me. Bad people break the law. Even *gasp* gun laws.

I take that as a threat. Who was that?

Since their inception the Teaparty crowd (not a movement since they do have the numbers or clout) have been “haters not debaters”. In my opinion this is what the small portions of the republican party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” have brought you. They are good at “Follow the Leader” of their dullard leaders, they listen to Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush and Savage and the rest of the Blowhards. Are you surprise at what they do when you know what they think? The world is complicated and most republicans (Hamiliton, Lincoln, Roosevelt) believe that we should use government a little to increase social mobility, now its about dancing around the claim of government is the problem. The sainted Reagan passed the biggest tax increase in American history and as a result federal employment increased, but facts are lost when mired in mysticism and superstition. Although some republicans are trying to distant themselves from this fringe most of them are just going along and fanning the flames.

  5. If you think Rachel Maddow wouldn’t condemn this, you have no idea who she is or what her show is about. She would absolutely condemn this, and for you to title and tweet this as “Rachel Maddow Incites Violence” – well, you and people like you are part of the problem.

You’re wrong on all counts. Maddow neither incites violence nor would she refuse to condemn violence being advocated in association with her. For you to imply either or both is really kind of sick. Just what are you trying to accomplish, anyway?

Yes, shooting people is bad. So is putting trash like this out there.

  6. @montana – Alexander Hamilton was a Republican?

Anyway, it would be really nice if everyone could just dispense with the BS and get to the real issue. The bottom line is that Republican congress critters support(ed) many of the popular pieces of the HCR legislation.

They were, however, opposed to several pieces. Things like federal insurance mandates and less than honest accounting which gave this bill its positive CBO score.

If the Majority party would have taken the time to accept some of the ideas from the Minority we would be in a much different place today. We would most likely still have an HCR law that includes all the popular things such as the bans on being denied for pre-existing conditions, caps on benefits, and loss of coverage.

We also would have seen a bill that did not include a nationalization of the student loan business, funny smelling deals to special states to buy votes, and in general a bill that will end up looking just like Social Security and Medicare in the not to distant future.

The bottom line is that this country simply can not afford anything. We could stop ALL spending and pay only on the debt and it would take a quarter century. We just cant go on like we are. No one seems to really understand that. Well, some do, just not the bulk of the electorate.

Far to many are far to used to standing around with either their hands in the pockets whistling a tune or holding out their hands waiting for Uncle Same to drop a few coins in their cup.

Oh, and for Rachel Maddow. She’s just another talking head. Just as painful to listen to as Olbermann or Hannity. People, stop listening to these people. Educate yourself. Dont rely on talking heads. Trust me… you’ll be much better off in the future.

I read your profile and I think it’s great that you know what God wants and that God has made it clear to you that He doesn’t want government to help people.

And knowing He’s against equality is a load off my mind as well. You know, since like you said, if He wanted equality, then we’d have it. That explains rape and all kinds of violence. God wants it right? I’m getting this!

If only someone had framed it for me that way years ago! A universal answer right here on this little blog!

I hope He’s made it clear to you that government spending money on war is a-okay too, so I can shake this nagging feeling that wars are mostly harmful and unproductive. Money wasted on history books, that was.

What a find. Thank you for the work you are doing. I think God will be eternally grateful.

I don’t really know if He will, but I’m guessing. Only you know for sure.

I don’t get this. What exactly are you accusing Maddow of doing? I listened to the audio and that is not Rachel Maddow speaking so how is Maddow inciting violence?

  11. Hi,Tabitha;
You are a dear woman, I linked this to you, this is scary. I am sorry that you had to be a victim of this selfless slimey monster feminazi.

I hope that you don’t mind that I linked you. God Bless you.

If anybody wants to know just how bad and radical war-thirsty these terrible people are, Read David Horowitz book, “The Radical Son”

Nicole, dont play stupid. These people are inciting violence, Mike McCaoy called for the death of Rush, Beck and more than a few others.

Chris: The Republicans need to get right with God! First the Republicans wanted to give Obama his Waterloo defeat over healthcare but instead they gave themselves their own Waterloo defeat by not participating in the debate of ideas and by becoming the party of obstructionist. Waterloo defeat refers of course to the defeat at Waterloo put an end to Napoleon’s rule as Emperor of the French and was the culminating battle of the Waterloo Campaign and Napoleon’s last. Republicans get right with God or get ready for future losses and Rush Limbaugh I real hope you enjoy your new home Costa Rica!

  14. Just a head’s up: “Montana” and “Christian” are probably the same person, if not working together. He’s been troll blogs posting the same nonsense comments.

Rachel MadCow definitely, absolutely DOES incite violence.

    Toward the TV set.

Every time her ugly puss shows up on there.

Just for reference, here is how MadCow looks compared to an actual *human*:

    Montana,

Like most uneducated nit-wits you don’t know your facts because of your “make pretend” version of American History, re-wrote by jackass liberals who smoked too much pot and dropped too much LSD.

The Republican Party never held the White House till Abraham Lincoln. He was the first Republican in the White House. Hamilton was a Federalist, not a Republican.

The Democratic-Republican Party, as it was called had split into two individual parties previous to Lincoln’s presidential campaign.

The largest tax increase in American was passed, in 1993, by the Clinton Administration. I watched the vote in the Senate on C-Span. It was 50-50. To break the tie and get the tax increase passed, Mr. Phony Global Warming- Al Gore cast the vote in favor of the largest tax increase in History, ever, anywhere. (But now he wants to top it with a Cap & Trade Tax.)

This is what put both houses of Congress in Republican control in 1994.

Maybe you should go back to elementary school and study your American History before you go spewing your make pretend version of our history.

I wonder if Obama loaned this “woman” his telepromter and speech writer. Clearly she was reading a prepared script. “Progressives”, they really don’t have a clue. In response to her message, Bring it on baby! The “progressive” surrender monkeys have never won an honest one-on-one fight. They ALWAYS run up their little white flag when the going gets tough.

  20. “Christian” What a name.. Really.. How can you call yourself a “Christian” and angry that people are trying to redeem themselves?

Left wing: ALWAYS satanic, always mocking.
Left wing; the chosen of the satan.

@Montana, since you are the ‘resident genius’ I bet you didnt know that the Tea Party protesters started in 2006 in the Boston Harbor?
They were not debaters then, they were not racists then.
