Olbermann vs. Stewart

True to form, Olbermann made some, well, harsh comments regarding Scott Brown on election night.  Here’s the text:

“In short, in Scott Brown we have an irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against woman and against politicians with whom he disagrees. In any other time in our history, this man would have been laughed off the stage as an unqualified and a disaster in the making by the most conservative of conservatives. Instead, the commonwealth of Massachusetts is close to sending this bad joke to the Senate of the United States.”

Olby is quickly making himself irrelevant… and I’m being generous by assuming that anyone gives him any credence as it stands right now.

Jon Stewart (I’m not gonna lie, the guy makes me laugh) dissected Olbermann’s comment in 6:54 of sheer brilliance.

Coakley Defeats Brown! Or something.

Did you know that the Boston Globe has supernatural powers? No really. It’s true. They already know the outcome of tonight’s election in Massachusetts. Seven whole hours before the polls even close, and without the help of exit polls. Pretty impressive, eh?

From Parcbench:

Earlier today, the Boston Globe posted online the results of the Massachusetts special election for U.S. Senate.  A screenshot of the posting reveals a razor-thin 1% victory for Martha Coakley over Scott Brown with 100% of precincts reporting.  The only problem with the post, however, is that it came at least seven hours before the polls in Massachusetts actually close at 8:00 p.m. tonight, leading some confused Massachusetts residents to wonder why the post, which was removed, ever went up in the first place.

Man, who said old media was dead? They know stuff even before it happens.
